PROGRESS

HOW TO STYLE CULOTTES AND A FUR COAT.

Shirt & earrings - H&M// Culottes - Zara // Shoes - Primark // Coat - Whistles // Choker - Topshop

I'm writing this post like it is my first post of the year, in some sense, it is. This was the first time I stood in front of a camera to shoot content for the blog and this was my outfit to church on New Year's day.

This year, I am sticking to progress, instead of perfection. Focusing more on the process, not the product. Progress trumps perfection because change doesn't disrupt progress, change enhances progress. Perfection is distorted by change, change is an unstable idea that perfection cannot withstand.

Focusing on your process as you go along has an inherent reward. You'll start to see the work you are doing more clearly and feel like you're making progress. The process can be fine tuned over and over until it speaks your language. Each time you make progress (no matter how little), you feel a sense of victory and as a creative, small victories are important.

What is your theme of the year? Please leave a comment telling me, thank you!
