BOTTLING UP YOUR FEELINGS.

WHY BOTTLING UP YOUR FEELINGS CAN BE A GOOD THING.

At this point, you're probably wondering what I always have on the floor with all the looking down. I am also wondering the same. It is probably a side effect of shooting myself and strangers staring at me and my tripod.

I am currently practising bottling up my feelings. I know, it sounds bad but let me explain. Bottling up my feelings in terms of writing, creating, recording (whatever practice) would help me look back on that day/incident and go through those feelings again. I am talking about good feelings here. Being able to reflect on happier/better days on gloomy days is definitely something I need.

Myleik Teele mentioned this practice in passing in one of her numerous helpful podcasts.  When she mentioned it,  I realised that it was something I had been doing for years but with the wrong feelings. I am now trying to fix up and do it with the right feelings but the challenge is, I can't sit still when I am happy, I want to run around and dance to Phyno and Flavour's songs.

Have you tried this practice or a similar one? What was your challenge with it? How do you deal with gloomy days?

  1. This is co cute! I love your hair, not to mention the fur throw adding just enough sass to your outfit ;)
